Nobody’s Child Beach Fern Kimono*
Dizen Lola May White Denim Dress*
On the rare occasion when the weather is dry and bright, I really love to channel white in my outfits. I know right, that all-black wearing hol is holding back for the incoming AW season but rn, I adore adding that statement white edge to any outfit. Not only does it make you look a little bit more tanned (I wish I had a proper tan *cry*) and despite the common perception, it is so flattering.
My favorite white dress this season is the Lola May white denim dress* from Dizen. The cut of the dress is modern, and the denim material is actually pretty light and comfortable. However, the real thing that makes this dress stand out is the cut out eyelet details, ooh la la. This does mean that you kinda have to go bra-less but there’s no chance of a nip slip as this bad boy is pretty secure due to the high neckline.
I teamed my plain white dress with a gorgeous palm detail kimono jacket* from Nobody’s Child, to add some monochrome dimension. This kimono is so soft and light which makes it a perfect summer cover up item. Plus, you can wear it tied up to accentuate the waist or undone for that laid-back cool.
If you know, you know – metallics are all the rage this SS16 – so of course I swooned af when I spotted these rose gold beauties* on the 4th & Reckless website. The heel is just high enough to give me a much needed height boost whilst being small enough to be comfy to walk in, yaaas! Keeping in with the rose gold details, I wore my Chupi rose gold necklace* as an accent piece!
How are you wearing white this season?
