Nothing says class like rose gold. For me, the gorgeous tint of pink in any jewellery just screams both elegance and femininity. Since the majority of my wardrobe lacks both femininity and colour – rose gold is the perfect addition to create a complimentary look.
Buckley London sent me a few pieces from their Shoreditch Collection* and needless to say, I’ve become a little obsessed. The collection features very clean cut, minimalism in combination with a little je ne sais quo with the delicate crystal detailing. This all adds to the very distinguished look that is the Shoreditch Collection, and it really does things for me.
Firstly, I am so impressed with the packaging of each of the pieces that I recieved. Each item was featured in a Buckley London gift box, which of course I liked because it was minimalist-styled. The quality of the boxes is sturdy and luxe-looking, so I would definitely be happy to give one an item as a gift.
I always have a at least one ring on everyday, so I was thrilled to welcome the Shoreditch Ring* RRP £30.00 to my collection. It features intricate crystal detailing and a sophisticated slim-line band, which could be stacked between other rings of different tones – or simply worn on it’s own as a statement. The crystals don’t feature the whole way round the band, but that’s more that okay as they are visible on the entire front side of the piece.
The Shoreditch Necklace* RRP £35.00 features a curved-bar shape and glistening crystals – enough to dress up any outfit. I could totally rock this during the day in an oversized tee and heeled boots, and take it to evening in a LBD and heels – if you’re looking for versatile jewellery, it’s right here.
As I don’t wear bracelets often because of my joint disability (doing the chains up is a pain) I was very interested to see what the Shoreditch Bracelet* RRP £30.00 had to offer. After a little help from my lovely boyfriend, I got the bracelet on and felt like a lady. The chain is very slim and dainty, and in combination with the mini crystal bar, it feels elegant on. The only gripe I have with this is the inability to adjust the size of the chain, so mine hangs a bit on my tiny wrists – but this can add an effortless “I don’t care” look, so I’ll just go with that.
These pieces are ideal for creating modern, yet feminine aesthetics. This is so important when it comes down to accessorising, especially with an almost all-black wardrobe. I find that most of my expression of colour and detail comes through from my accessories, and these pieces when used separately, or as a set, definitely add that extra something that I look for in jewellery.
If rose gold isn’t your cup of tea, then Buckley have a total of 27 beautiful collections to suit every taste and preference – and with their 2 year international warranty you can’t go wrong. Please keep in mind that this is costume jewellery and needs to be taken care of to avoid tarnishing, ie take it off in the shower & when washing up – you know the drill.
