Unlike most beauty boxes, Tili is not a monthly subscription box! IKR, how strange. It’s quite refreshing as you can treat yourself to full size/deluxe samples of high end brands on a one-time basis without any commitment to paying out every month for a new one.
The second edition beauty Beauty Box* contains 8 beauty must-haves and costs only £20, which includes P&P, and is worth a whopping £99. Yep, you heard me right guys. Best of all, they tell you exactly what’s in the box before you buy – no surprises = no disappointing products.
What an item to recieve in a beauty box, right? I couldn’t believe that this was included in a £20 beauty box as it retails for over that, on it’s own. After having a nose about online, I confirmed that this is indeed full size, and is worth £25 RRP. Are you serious QVC?!
I’ve tried out this product a few times & I love the fact that it’s oil free. It has no adverse effects on my makeup, which is especially important as I have very oily, blemish-prone skin. The primer leaves my skin with a very (and I mean very) subtle bronzed glow, and the finish is super silky without feeling greasy or silicon-y. I did notice my skin looking more radiant, which gets an A* from me.
Mmhmm, yep – another full sized product that’s worth the price of the box. Everyone knows that Tarte is ridiculously hard to get in the UK, and if you’ve struggled to find all the yummy Tarte products as-seen-on-YouTube, I feel ya. QVC is known to be one of the only places that you can get hold of the brand here in good ol’ Blighty. So, naturally, I did fan-girl a tiny bit when I spotted this in the box.
Everyone in the know has rave reviews about this mascara, so I can’t wait to give it a whirl. I’m in love with the packaging, and black & gold is so classic. Although a lot of people have a real problem with plastic mascara wands, I absolutely love them, as they really lengthen lashes without much transfer to my tiny eye-lids. Oh, and the mascara doesn’t seem wet or runny at all – Prediction: expect to see this in a beauty faves post very soon.
As far as I’m aware, this shade is the one that has been popped in every box. And that’s certainly not a bad thing. If you’re into a pearlescent/metallic finish to your claws, you will adore this shade. I’m not big on cool-tones on my nails, but this shade is to die for. It’s almost celestial as the shade is so deep, with a magic pink and purple sheen. Fingers crossed that future me manages to take a decent snap… Of course, it’s an OPI shade so you can expect the best of the best in terms of polish quality. My other OPI shades take 5 days to chip, so I hope this one works just as well!
This one is a cute sample size of the much-loved Philosophy best seller, Amazing Grace, shower gel & shampoo. I had never actually smelled this fragrance before, but now I can understand why people are so obsessed with it. It’s feminine and fresh, and not too overpowering for everyday use. Can’t wait to pop in the bath with this gel tonight!
I have actually tried quite a few Pixi products before, so I’m expecting this one to be just as good as the others *fingers crossed*. Even though I have a zillion black eye liner pencils (what girl doesn’t), I can always do with more, right? This pencil retails for £12.00 so it is up there in price, and it’s a full size product – yaaaas! It promises to be long-lasting, yet gentle on eyes, so I’m excited to create some bold looks with this one.
Another full-sized, guys n’ gals, and it’s a good’un. I absolutely adore receiving hair care products in beauty boxes as I do take time to look after it, and I do style my hair often. As my hair is so thick, something that I do lack is volume. I’ll definitely be trying this one out when I next pop in the shower, but I think that it’s such a great product to recieve in a beauty box. Plus, the packaging is gawww-gus!
After seeing YouTubers everywhere unboxing Caudalie products in various boxes, I was so elated to see one in my Tili box! I always need moisturisers, so this product is a winner for me. It is a very generously sized sample of moisturiser, but as I’ll be using it everyday it will be interesting to see how far the product goes. This product melts effortlessly into the skin, and smells so good. The scent is strong and does linger on the skin, so be aware if you have sensitive skin!
This complex sample is half a full-size product, and is worth £17.50 at that size! Even though I had no idea what this product was when I picked it out of the box, the packaging did impress. This serum contains 12 forms of hyaluronic compounds to give visible hydration, pumping skin effects, and improvement of wrinkles and fine lines. Unfortunately, even though I’m only 22, I have managed to spot my future wrinkly areas, on my forehead and by my lips – so I can’t wait to get ahead of the game with this products. If it’s good enough for industry experts & A-List celebs, it’s good enough for me!
