A few weeks back, Debenhams Flowers got in contact and asked if I would like to review my choice of bouquet from their stunning Mother’s Day range. Honestly, I didn’t even realise that Debenhams had this side project at all, but I was very curious to see what the department store retail giant had to offer on this floral front.
After a lot of umm’ing and ahh’ing (god, they have some beautiful arrangements) – I opted for something a little different from the department store giant, the Lindt Chocolate Bouquet*. Yes, you heard me – chocolate bouquet. Because there’s nothing quite like treating a special woman in your life with chocolate.
It contains a whopping 30 Lindt chocolates, decorated as you would expect from a good quality flower arrangement, which really does give it an edge over the usual box of choccies. The flavours are assorted from: Lindt milk truffles, extra dark truffles, milk with hazelnut pieces truffles, white chocolate truffles, white chocolate with strawberries and cream truffles – and I, like most women, am certainly not fussy with chocolate so I am very likely to scoff every flavour.
Not sure if you’ll get your money’s worth? As a student this is one of my main priorities and it is definitely the first question I ask myself before I buy something. If you’re more into the classic flower bouquet, Debenhams Flowers also have a Flower Freshness Guarantee: “We guarantee that our flowers and planted arrangements will stay looking beautiful for at least seven days, or your money back.” So you can be sure that you will receive that high standard expected of Debenhams.
