So the days have already gotten steadily darker and that summer sun, well, what sun? Over in here in Wales we’ve barely seen any sunshine since May, and a tan? That’s pretty much become a myth. So, of course, I’ve taken this as an opportunity to start channelling some autumnal vibes. Keeping my pins out and my hair up nods to summer, whereas the deep red lippy and black lace says all things flirty fall.
This Zara dress has been my fave sale buy of the year at only £9.99, and I must have worn it at least a dozen times by now. The high neck and long sleeves of lace expose just enough skin without committing to having your arms out. Plus, the lace wrist flares are killer. Safe to say, I definitely felt hella Coven in this baby.
To keep things looking gothic chic, I’ve thrown on my fave kitten-heeled pumps from New Look to add a little height whilst keeping the lace as the focus of the outfit. Seriously, these are a staple to any outfit transitioning into AW16 (which is what I’m all about atm) – I actually bought these in two colours, sorry not sorry… Gemporia also sent me over a few of their super cute Bridge stacker rings* last week, and I’ve been wearing them everyday since. The perfect combination of geometric design and sparkle, hell yeah.
Omgaaad guys, okay so let’s just talk about it – the bag. This Love Moschino beauty was v. kindly gifted to me by the lovely Jenn from Tessuti. I picked this one out as it’s just one of those pieces that you can rework in every season, with a variety of outfits, which totally justifies the £145 price tag.
This design is perfect for me as I (almost) always douse myself in monochrome pieces. The bag itself is so soft, and just has that really classy feeling to it – you can feel the quality. I’ve also noticed that quilting always comes back into circulation on high end handbags, so this is definitely a timeless piece. The gold chain detail adds that little bit of sass and makes this bag a statement.
I came across the brand Tessuti at The Bloggers Ball by Scarlett London, and fell in love with all the high-end pieces on their website. Tessuti is a high-end retailer, and they feature such a great variety of brands. From Michael Kors, to Vivienne Westwood, to Armani – they have something for everyone, and in my case, much more than one thing. They make shopping for high-end items much easier, and what’s more, they even have a SALE on right now. IKR, I couldn’t resist having a peek.
What luxury bag would you splash the cash on?
