Reviving The Classic Christmas Jumper

So when it comes to le classic Christmas jumper, people generally fit into one of two categories: the cringer. or the embracer. For 22 years of my life I’ve been the cringer, like *ewww mum I’m not putting on a gastly xmas garment* however, more recently… I’ve been fucking loving it.

Weirdly enough, I’ve been more drawn to the xmas knit than ever before, and with big brands taking the concept and breathing new, modern life into it, I’m so ready to rock a Christmas jumper this year. No longer do you have to stuff it at the back of your drawer and dig it out for the longest three hour xmas lunch on the 25th, but it’s a new statement, slogan look that you can wear whenever you’re feeling sassy enough.

This “Piste Off” jumper from PLT’s Christmas Jumper Shop has me swooning  ~ because wearing a slogan that’s as sassy as you are ~ is 100% something to live by. Not only is it tongue-in-cheek but it’s a bold statement that you could get away with on the daily, plus it’s a great option to throw it on après-work for drinks with colleges or your besties back at home.

I’m rocking this xmas knit with a twist, on top of my new fave wide leg leopard culottes, and vibrant pink velvet boots for a little va va voom. You can definitely look like you’ve made an effort with style, whilst actually chilling in what really is fancy PJ bottoms and a comfy knit because with all the amazing xmas food and drink, who really want’s to be wearing “jeans and a nice top”? Elastic waistband and generously sized knit for me all the way *hands up emoji*.

How are you rocking the classic xmas jumper this season?
