It honestly feels like I’ve been waiting for this box to release for sooooo long. I’ve had a big Tili Box shaped hole in my beauty collection, and the void has now been filled. I’ve reviewed all the previous Tili Boxes, bar the first one, and loved every single one of them to pieces. The guys n’ gals over at QVC really do know how to expertly select products and curate a damn fabulous box. Because the box isn’t monthly, or a subscription, you have the opportunity to opt in or out of any box as it’s just like popping online and ordering your fave lipstick. The Box retails for £20 (plus P&P) which I’ve found to be an absolute bargain every month.
Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel
15ml Sample Size – RRP £9.60
I’ve had a sample of this before (99% sure it was this product) and I actually really enjoyed it! Elemis, as a brand, is always hit or miss for me – but it’s always fab to get some more expensive, high end skincare samples in beauty boxes to allow you to get a little taste of what the brand, and the product, is all about.
Caudalie Vino Perfect Radiance Serum
10ml Sample Size – RRP £15.00
I absolutely love Caudalie as a brand, and their products always work wonders for my skin so I’m over the bloomin’ moon to see this lil product in the Tili box this time around. Plus, I haven’t actually tried this formula before which is even more exciting – I love a good serum, I do!
Bareminerals Gen Nude Matte Liquid Lipcolour in Juju
Full Size – RRP £17.00
After hearing the shade name “JuJu” – I was sure I wasn’t going to like the colour of this lip product as I assumed it would be something very bright, and possibly orange based. Okay, I was wrong, and it’s bloody beaut. It seems like one of those universal nude blush shades that those of all skin colours and tones can rock on a neutral day for a little bit of “my lips but better” on ya mush.
Rituals The Ritual of Sakura Foaming Shower Gel
50ml Sample Size – RRP £2.13
Oh laaaaaawd, this scent is everything. I’ve been loving the Ritual of Sakura shower oil for the last month and this smells exactly the same, but it’s a foam formula instead of a shower oil. The scent is beautifully infused with fresh cherry blossoms, whilst still acting as a more grown up, mature scent for a working gal on the go, and it actually lingers on the skin for ages after you rinse the suds off.
L’Occitane Almond Supple Skin Oil
15ml Sample Size – RRP £5.40
This light body oil is supposed to help to create a “firming and beautifying” effect on the skin without feeling weighty or greasy – sounds great to me! I’m not a big fan of body oils for that reason, so the “lightweight” aspect is pretty appealing to me. L’Occitane have always been a great brand in my eyes, so fingers crossed this is a winner!
Perfect Formula Ruby Gel Coat Nail Polish
Full Size – RRP £23.50
I’m pretty sure I already have this, so if I do I will be passing it on to a friend. This is a great product for building up strength in your nails, and it definitely works for me when I take a break from wearing my acrylic falsies. You need to apply it constantly to see a difference in your nails but it’s so low maintenance to use (as it’s transparent).
Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Color Splash Lipstick
1g Sample Size (Mini Lipstick) – RRP £4.77
I think mini lippies are my new fave thing, how darn cute is this?! The shade looked much brighter and more orange on the box’s leaflet, so I was pleasantly surprised to see a brick nude shade when I popped open the lid. Oh yeah, and the packaging is insane – it’s going out on show on my vanity for sure, even if it’s the tiniest lipstick ever… I love the fact that Tili always throw in some nifty brand exclusives, as Tarte is only really available on QVC (who run the Tili box) here in the UK.
Gatineau Floracil Plus Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover
118ml Full Size – RRP £18
Even though I’m not a big fan of eye make up removers as their own step in my cleansing routine, the fact that this is contact lens wearer safe and tested by optometrists really does excite me. Sometimes I don’t think much of checking whether products are safe for contact lens wearers and I pay for it in the long term when I get eye irritations, etc. I’m promising myself that I’ll be open minded when trying this out this week. Plus, the size of this is so generous – Full size? Heck yeah!
Shay & Blue Blood Oranges Eau de Parfum
10ml Sample Size – RRP £10.00
Everything about this product, from the packaging to the actual fragrance itself, is heavenly. I personally think that this is the best product in the box, because it ticks all of my boxes in terms of a fragrance and that’s pretty difficult to do at random (wooo, go Tili!). The Blood Oranges scent is fresh and fruity, with a citrus zing, although it’s not overpowering or artificial at all. I just want to spray this all over myself, all the time.
All in all, this is a stand out box – thank you so much, Tili Box! I’m pretty happy with everything in the box, and as it’s competitively priced at £20 (only!) you’re bound to get a lot more product than you pay for. Totally it all up, the box is worth around a whopping £105.40 – insane value for money. If you’re big on brands, and serious about high end makeup, you will adore this box. If you’re new to makeup and want to try out some well known brands, you’ll have found your new beauty box bestie.
