If you follow me on any of my social media platforms, then it’s more than likely that you’ve heard me mention Crowd Colour or perhaps seen The Kitty Luxe prototype palette that they sent me not so long ago.
If not, welcome to the world of Crowd Colour!
Crowd Colour is a pretty new brand offering something that has not yet been offered in the world of beauty and make up. Fancy your face on a palette? Perhaps your name on a lippy? The creative control is all yours with their new project – Personalised Make Up.
The main idea behind Crowd Colour‘s personalised make up selection, is to provide a completely individual palette designed to your preferences. They have 3 different palette sizes, and each can be personalised with text, a logo, or images – which not only makes a palette the perfect edition to your own make up collection, but also a thoughtful gift for a fellow beauty lover!
This palette is actually an empty palette that is refillable with all sorts of eyeshadow, blush, and bronzer pans of your fancy – all down to it’s magnetic base. This is ideal for travelling, as you can create a whole make up look with one palette.
I didn’t actually know this, but a trick that some MUA’s use to reduce the amount of clutter in their make up collection is to depot all of their favourite powders from their original packaging! If you’d like some more information on how to do this, then Crowd Colour provides a great technique here! Also if you’re a massive fan of the Make Up Geek eyeshadows, or have thought about getting some but don’t really know where to put them, then this is your holy grail girrrrrl!
This means that you can make a completely bespoke make up palette with your own design, and featuring all of your own favourite shades – magical!
Crowd Colour’s ultimate goal is to become the first fully customisable make up brand, with hopes to expand their collection to include a full range of colour make up products and various beauty accessories, which too can be personalised.
All of this wouldn’t be possible without your help – hello Kickstarter!
If you haven’t heard of Kickstarter before, it’s a way for brands to advertise themselves and promote their aims and goals to the public – like you! You can decide whether you want to pledge £££ to that brand to help them kickstart their business. No worries though – if the brand does not get the entire amount of money they need to start their idea, you don’t spend any money on it! So you can only invest in concepts that are definitely going to provide their end of the bargain.
Crowd Colour’s Kickstarter page allows you to pledge an amount of money in exchange for exclusive access to their customisable make up. This includes a palette (size depending on pledge amount) and, exclusively to this offer, a personalised lipstick. Fancy your name on a lippy colour of your choice? Then this is definitely for you.
They currently have a variety of pledge options on offer, so there’s something to suit everyone’s wants and budgets – so be afraid to go and have a peek!
If you too are a blogger, then I’m assuming you’re part of the infamous The Girl Gang group created by the amazing Jemma from Dorkface. If not, get involved gals! Crowd Colour have collaborated with Girl Gang to create a brand new palette design to help promote positivity throughout the blogger community. And the design, drawn by Jemma herself, is just the cutest pastel logo ever, right?!
Crowd Colour have begun to build a community of make up lovers who want to have a say in how their make up is designed, and I am definitely ready to get involved. Remember, this concept can’t kickstart without you, so if you want to have your own personalised make up collection in the near future – get involved!
They really are a community driven brand, and love interacting on social media. If you have any thoughts or queries – don’t hesitate to get in contact with them!
Have a look at the Crowd Colour Kickstarter page for full information on the concept, the customisation of palettes, or if you want to get involved and pledge!
I’ve got my blog logo on mine, so what would you have on your personalised palette or lippy?
