Nothing makes me feel more empowered in the AW season more than the combination of leather & lace. I absolutely love this combination in all seasons, but in autumn, this really does things for me. You all know that I’m a little goth gal at heart, and black clothes are a passion of mine. However, since my hair change up, I’ve (v. happily) been getting into blush and baby pinks. Fab news, as it’s so on trend right now – yay 4 hols.

Usually I could pair black lace with black leather, however I spot this absolute bargain of a lace top in Zara, and well, it had to be mine. As the weather still wont make up it’s mind in cardiff rn, I can still get away with wearing this with a skirt! Obvz a skater skirt is my go-to for the incoming season as it’s perfect to pair with chunky knits and high leg boots.

The jacket of the season is of course, the Biker Jacket*. I know I’m going to ruffle some feathers here but I’m just not going to jump on the bomber trend. Don’t get me wrong, I do love a good bomber – but when everyone’s wearing one? I dun’ think so. The Biker* just has so much more to offer, it’s just warm enough, can be layered over and under (think high necks and blanket scarves). Oh, and it makes you look at least 50% more badass.

This isn’t just an outfit for now, oh no, this can totally be channeled into full AW16/17. Which is gr8 as ain’t nobody got time to replace a mid-season wardrobe that you’ll probably only wear for a month at best. I’d transform this with some lace up knee highs, like these absolute babes from Public Desire, which will keep chilly knees at bay whilst hitting all that lace up trend.

How are you rocking lace & leather for the autumn season?
