Glossybox March 2017 Review & Unboxing (SPOILERS)

I’m so happy to announce that my monthly Glossybox Beauty Box unboxing and review series is back on track, starting with the Glossybox March 2017 edition! It feels like it’s been ages since my last Glossybox unboxing, and that’s because it has been. Almost a year has flown by, and from what I can see on social media, Glossybox have been seriously upping their game month after month. Thinking of investing in a monthly beauty box? Well read on babes & huns to see if Glossybox is the right one for you!

Grace London Co – Rose or Prosecco Card

This Works In Transit Close Up Primer* (SAMPLE SIZE)

So so so happy to see This Works in this months Glossybox, as I am completely in love with this Deep Sleep Spray (spoiler but I’m trialling it out right now and it’s fab). Apparently this product claims to work as an all-in-one product: as a mask, moisturiser, and a primer. As I’m a busy gal on-the-go, this sounds like my idea of heaven. Even though I love splurging my time on  getting prepped and pampered on the weekends, it’s all uni and business on the weekday and I like to keep things simple and speedy. This primer is apparently supposed to leave your skin feeling dewy and radiant and that’s not exactly and oily girl’s cuppa tea, but in the name of beauty I keep you updated on how it acts on my skin!

Schwarzkopf Professional BlondeMe Keratin Restore Bonding Shampoo* (FULL SIZE)

Even though I’m technically not a blondie any more (fyi it’s some sort of weird lavender-y pink cocktail of colours) it’s definitely right up my street after damaging my hair from lots, and lots, of processing. Let’s face it, most blondes have a love/hate relationship with bleach but it’s really not that big of a deal if you look after your hair before and after processing, simples! I can’t wait to integrate this shampoo into my already restorative regime. Plus, it smells ah-mazing – I thought the handcream was the source of the seriously yummy scent going on inside this month’s box, but it was actually this bad boy. Preparing to have dreamily scented locks here.

Oolution Eye Love* (SAMPLE SIZE)

Even though I have been prone to bad mouthing moisturisers and eye creams popping up in beauty boxes in the past, I still always get round to using them and their neat travel sizes are absolutely great for taking on-the-go. I love to throw an eye cream in my backpack for some eye bag TLC through-out my uni day (didn’t you hear the rumour that engineers don’t sleep?), and that’s exactly what I’m going to do with this one. It claims to “minimize the visible signs of fatigue in the eye contour area” which is just what I need on a day-to-day basis, and it also contains 65 active botanical ingredients – get innnn.

Crabtree & Evelyn Meadow Hand Therapy* (FULL SIZE)

For the 100th time on my blog: I’m not the biggest fan on hand creams! I feel like I need to sort of disclaim that, because I’ll always be a bit like “ahhh, damn” every time I spot a hand cream in a beauty box purely because I only ever use them if my hands are very, very dry. This one, however, smells bloody amazing – the perfect floral, fruity combo that’s right up my street – so I might try to incorporate it as some form of body moisturiser. The quality of C&E’s products are also off the charts so kudos to Glossybox for including the brand as a full-sized product in this months box!

Sleek Eye & Cheek Palette in All Day Soiree* (FULL SIZE)

This was the Sneak Peek and much anticipated star product of the March 2017 box, and boy is it a right good’un folks. I absolutely love Sleek as a brand, and although they’re inexpensive, their products are (for the most part) so unbelievably worth trying if you haven’t already. If you haven’t entered the world of Sleek Makeup yet, this box is perfect for you. It’s the ideal opportunity to try out Sleek before jumping into the deep end and hauling a tonne of products (guilty).

As I did get sent this box by the lovely team at Glossybox, I didn’t get to choose my palette – however, they all feature on trend shade selections and I would have been able to work with any of them. Hands up – I probably would have picked this one anyway, which is ridiculously lucky. For a £10 beauty box, this is a pretty nifty palette to receive especially if you’re a newbie in the beauty or blogging world and want to try out some new products and brands.

Box Cost: £10.00 + £3.25 P&P

Sleek Palette: £9.99

Crabtree & Evelyn Handcream: £6.00

Schwarzkopf Professional Shampoo: £11.25

This Works Primer:

£25.50 / 40 ml

£12.75 / 20ml sample

Oolution Eye Love:

£30.00 for 15ml

£20 for 10ml Sample

£10 for approximately £60.00 worth of product is an  incredibly good investment for a beauty box, so congrats for creating a lush March box, Glossybox!
