Ooops, my Glossybox review has been ghosting this month – but for a very good reason. I have finally finished my exams – omg. I’m literally done with uni, and what better way to celebrate than a much awaited beauty box review. I get so much fab feedback from you all on my beauty box reviews, and if I’m even helping a few of you decide which box is for you – that makes me ridiculously fulfilled and happy!
There’s no theme to this month’s Glossybox design, but the O.G. box design does it for me anyway (here’s a lil secret too – I always reuse mine as makeup drawer organisers). The “Back To Basic”concept is perfect for a fresh summer start, with a basic beauty shake up. This is certainly just what I need for a quick makeup-wardrobe refresher, as I simply love to spruce up my everyday routines for the new season – bring it on, Glossybox!
RRP – £6.95
If I didn’t already have two of these, one on the go & one back up, I would be over the moon upon spotting this product in the May box. I absolutely love this product, but I am happy with the two full sized versions I already have, so you might spy this in a giveaway sometime soon. This multi-purpose balm is gr8 for softening up dry skin, chapped lips, or used as a moisturiser or hair treatment – it really is multifunctional, and it works. Like you would expect, it’s full of Pawpaw (papaya) and other yummy natural oils to make your dry spots feel hydrated once again.

You know what’s better than the first coffee of the day? Okay, you got me, nothing’s better than that. But smoothing on a coffee scrub in the shower comes pretty darn’ close. Coffee scrubs are my all time favourite type of scrub for a number of reasons: 1) They’re dry, 2) They’re moisturizing, & 3) Thus, they’re rather contradictory. This one is formulated with Active Charcoal to help clear skin and remove impurities and oils, whilst leaving skin feeling moisturised by aloe and avocado – yum!

Finallyyyyyy – holy crap, guys. After witnessing everyone and her mum receiving a sample of this in Youtube unboxing videos, I can finally try it. It’s specifically formulated for sensitive skin with grape and chamomile to both hydrate and soothe, which is perfect for clearing and calming skin after a long day’s work in the city.
RRP – £14.99
This blush does indeed feel silky smooth, and it’s a beautiful pop of colour for the Summer – however, I’m not quite sure if this shade works on my olive skin tone… hmmm. It’s a bit risky putting in a universal blush shade, Glossybox, but fingers crossed it works for the majority of people who got their hands on this month’s box!
RRP – £7.95
I always love receiving makeup brushes in a beauty box for two reasons: 1) they’re always full size, and 2) I always get good use out of them. I have never recieved a brush in a beauty box and then never put it to werk, so I am more than happy to spot this in the box this month.
Which are you favourite products in the May Glossybox?
*I was gifted this beauty box, however all thoughts and opinions are my own*
