This month’s Glossybox* is back with a bang. Although for the majority of us the season of summer is pretty much over, the August edition is here to remind you that it’s the 8th month. Even if you’re sat indoors wrapped in a blankie, sipping on hot soup – it’s still summer, okay? “Girl’s just wanna have fun” is scripted across the front of the newest Glossybox* in a super fun, sassy print. Are you ready to see out summer? You will be now!
What’s In The Box?
Sport FX Time Out Face Mist & Fix*
Full Size – RRP £5.99
Unfortunately, I have used some Sport FX products in the past and they’ve been pretty… blah. It’s not that I had a bad experience, it was just very average. The price point of this product is great, however, and it’s vegan friendly waheyyy. It does contain a fair bit of menthol though, and whilst some might find that freshness appealing, I’m pretty allergic to the stuff. I’ll be passing this along to someone else, but it’s a cute lil addition to the box this month.
Valquer Ice Hair Mask Total Repair*
Sample Size – 150ml – Worth £7.49
This hair mask is a one-of-a-kind formula that both has a cooling effect on the scalp, and hydrates n’ tames your locks. You apply it like a normal mask, after shampooing once/twice a week at let it do it’s magic. Again, cooling = menthol… so I’m going to have to pass this one on to someone too. If you enjoy a good scalp tingling, I’m sure you’ll fall head over heels for this formula.
Modellauncher Safari Sun Bronzer*
Full Size – RRP £16.50
A talc free formula? Yaaay! This bronzer is not only beautiful to look at, but promises to look just as good on the skin due to it’s mineral enriched formula. I’m swooning just looking at the damn thing, perfect for a little kitty in the sun? I think so.
Batiste 2in1 Dry Shampoo & Conditioner in Vanilla & Passion Flower*
Sample Size – Worth £1.30
I’m always on the look out for a new dry shampoo, what girl isn’t? So obvz when Batiste come out with a combo dry shampoo and conditioner product – I just have to give it ago. The scent is really delicate and not too overwhelming, so I’m really excited to try out the formula of this bad boy. It’s just a shame that for someone like me with hair past their tits, this is about one application’s worth.
Rodial Suede Lips in Big Apple*
Full Size – RRP £22.00
Ahhhh Glossybox, if I didn’t already own this – I would have been so excited about it. As soon as I spotted this lil Rodial treat in the box I just had a feeling that it would be the shade Rodial sent me a few months back. If you haven’t tried Rodial products before, this is a good’un. Plus, it has a high end price tag and is a beaut colour that anyone can pull off. Can’t go wrong with a matte lip really!
There’s a special little extra product in the August box, a pretty Aloha bracelet from the brand Purelei. It’s the cutest thing and I honestly can’t wait to wear this now, and on holiday in the future – awwwwh!
Total Cost: £10.00 (+£3.25 P&P)
Total Value: £53.28 (Approx)
Woohoo, with another box of a value of over £50 Glossybox are really bringing it home recently. Unfortunately, I can’t use two products due allergies and one product that I already own – but if neither of those circumstances were true – this would make for one hell of an exciting box. TBH – the best bit about the box was the little extra touch, the bracelet, that is so darn cute that I’m actually going to wear it tomorrow.
