The Customisable Beauty Box That You Need In Your Life

Never have I ever been so excited for a beauty box to arrive, guys n’ gals. I was sitting up in bed contently sipping on my morning brew from about 8 am waiting for the postman to rat-a-tat on my door to deliver me this lil gem. Why was I highly anticipating the arrival of this (big) pink box? I hear you ask. Because, believe it or not, I got to choose every single product inside!

If you don’t order beauty boxes often, then you might not know that that is definitely a big deal. Usually, one would expect to receive maybe 5 beauty products in a box that may or may not work for you. It’s pretty much the luck of the draw and I’ve received beauty boxes with absolutely nothing useful in, which equates to around £10-£15 of wasted dollar $$$.

So much to my surprise, I found that Latest in Beauty* cater for those who simply wish to choose the products in their beauty box (aka me) and make it so effortless & simple too. All you have to do is spend a few moments creating a Latest In Beauty* profile and get tailored recommendations based upon your beauty preferences and fave brands. Then choose the box type that’s fit for you and get filling with your personal selection of beauty treats!

The Beauty Novice – A choice of 3 products for £9.00

The Beauty Enthusiast – A choice of 6 products for £15.00

The Beauty Guru – A choice of 9 products for £18.00

(Prices for one-off box orders only!)

The “Beauty Guru” was gifted to me by the lovely folk at Latest in Beauty, so I picked out 9 beauty treats for this month:

  • Kevyn Aucoin The Matte Bronzing Veil in Desert Days (DS)
  • Eylure Brow Amplifier in Dark Brown (FS)
  • Benefit Roller Lash Mascara in Black (DS)

  • Carmex Moisturising Lip Balm in Peach & Mango Burst (FS)
  • Dr Organic Dead Sea Mineral Bio-Plasma Mud Mask (FS)
  • Optiat Hit the Sheets Coffee Scrub in Vanilla Velvet (FS)
  • Philosophy Purity Made Simple 3-in-1 Cleanser (DS)

  • Philip Kingsley Geranium & Neroli Elasticizer (DS)
  • Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray (DS)

Extra product – Merci Handy Hand Sanitiser

Needless to say, there’s a seriously impressive selection on their website guys. There’s definitely something for everyone, and you can even filter the products by type, brand, etc which makes in so handy when you’re looking for a bit of variety in your box. I always find that I go for loads of makeup samples but don’t really explore the skin or hair care (that’s just what floats my boat) so by filtering and choosing a few of each type of product I really did get a great selection.

Plus, the brands featured are ah-mazing. I managed to nab a sample of a Kevin Aucoin bronzer (hello?!) and I’ll finally get to try Benefit’s infamous Roller Lash, which will be an experience whether I love or hate it! As skincare goes, I can’t wait to see what the hype is surrounding Philosophy is and I’m beyond a sucker for any product with coffee in it (what blogger isn’t, am I right?) so the vanilla/coffee scented scrub is sure to be up my street. Haircare-wise, both of the brands I picked are expensive, high end brands that always get featured by bloggers/vloggers alike so I can’t wait to give them a whirl.

The best thing? All of the products are deluxe samples (DS) or even full sized (FS) – which for £18 a box, is a bloody bargain IMO! Plus if you sign up for a subscription of Latest In Beauty boxes, you get free delivery on every single one – get innnnn. And if you make a subscription order you also get a free limited edition makeup bag to pop all of your new goodies in, umm yes plz.

Would you pick any of the products that I chose for your customized box?

Wow this box sounds amazing, I will definitely be checking this out later on when I've used up a few more of my Birchbox samples (I had to cancel because I got so many)Leanne |
