Cohorted July 2017 Unboxing & Review

I know what you’re thinking – hurray, the Cohorted* box is back on TKL again! …Or something like that. I know you guys lurrrrve my Cohorted reviews as they’re some of my most requested beauty box reviews and I mean, of course they are. The Cohorted box* is up there at the top of the beauty box food chain, and for £35,00 a month is better pack a punch. If you’re undecided on whether you want to sign up for the Cohorted box, or perhaps your first box is on the way, this post will let you know what to expect from such a high value beauty box. Let’s do this!

Peony Faux Flowers Rose Set In Water*

Nails – Candy Coat Gel in 071*

Ciate Glow To Illuminating Blush

RRP £22.00

Oh hell yeah, this one product makes the box 100% worth it this month. I’ve seen errrr’body ranting and raving about this blush topper all over the interwebs and I just knew I had to try it out. I’ve got the shade In Too Deep which is a rich berry mauve with gold shimmers swirled through it. I have an inkling that this blush topper will be my autumn go-to for quick makeup days as it ticks both the blush & highlight boxes in one product. Before I move on, I just need to take a moment to appreciate the packaging. It’s beauuuutiful.

Bellapierre Contour Palette

RRP £40.00

Even though I’m not a massive fan of Bellapierre after having a few unfortunate encounters with their other products. However, I went in with an open mind but I do genuinely prefer powder products generally as I find creams hard to work with on my oily skin, especially if they come in pans like these. They don’t wear too well on my oily skin, so I would perhaps suggest them for drier skin types who need more cream products to provide an illuminated, dewy base.

Doucce Punk Volumiser Mascara

RRP £20.00

I actually have a small version of this, a sample size, that I’m pretty sure I got in another Cohorted box? I think… Anyway I have tried this in the past, and I think I still have the mini hiding somewhere in my vast sample collection and I just never reach for it. I have a backlog of mascara products to try and as I’ve used this one before and haven’t been “wow” blown away it’s not holy grail. However, I do remember it being very voluminous but just not lengthening enough for my short, stubby asian lashes.

Doucce Luscious Lip Stain

RRP £22.00

I love love love the fact that this month’s box comes with a “lip kit” style product – a lip stain for colour and a gloss for.. well gloss of course! I don’t personally like gloss products, so the Luscious Lip Gloss is a pass from me. However, the stain is a really pretty shade and sits comfortably on the lips – plus, it wears really well as it’s a stain (no flaking or peeling!).

Total Box Value – £104.00

For a cost of £35.00 and a worth of £104.00, this month’s Cohorted box* is an absolute bargain! Apart from the Doucce Luscious Lip Gloss, I think I’ll get good use out of everything in this box. The Ciate blush is 100% going on my vanity right now as it’s so beautiful and I have a sneaky feeling it’ll be my fave through to autumn and winter too. Thank you for an amazing July box, Cohorted

Amazing photography as always Holly, but this subscription really calls to me…the only thing that puts me off slightly is the price of it (although it is completely worth it).Alicia xAesthetic Obsessed
