What makes for the perfect Christmas gift? Sometimes I think searching internally is your best bet when trying to nail a Christmas gift for your ma, sister, aunt, bestie… etc. What do I mean by this? Well why not as yourself, what makes a freakin’ badass Christmas gift which is both unique and useful?
My answer to this question is: beauty & electronics. Let’s be honest, some of the best gifts to give and receive at xmas are beauty bundles like toiletries sets, makeup gifts… and electronics like hairstylers, speakers, the list goes on. So nail both categories on the head with my gift guide list full of beauty electronics items that make for the purrrrfect Christmas prezzies for your best gals (or guys!) in 2017.
Lee Stafford Rainbow Bubble Waver Curler* RRP £39.99Lee Stafford Rainbow Shine Straightener* RRP £69.99
Ummm hey unicorn galactic realness? The Lee Stafford “Rainbow” collection of hair stylers are just the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. I’m a massive fan of minimalism and keeping things simplistic, and I really do think they’ve nailed combining this aesthetic with fun, rainbow aesthetics. The plates on the straighteners and the bubble wand of the curler are coated in Lee Stafford’s Rainbow iron shine and both have an electroplated finish with negative ion technology for a frizz-free finish.
The bubble wand is fab for boho-chic curls that are a bit more random and messy than your usual spherical barrel, whilst the straighteners give you that sleek look without the frizz. What I love most about these is the soft touch purple coating, allowing for a good grip (and they look much more expensive than they are).
This new Limited Edition colour is everything for Christmas, guys. You already know that I’ve been in L.O.V.E. with the original Magnitone Vibra-Sonic in Pink for the last year and a half, and this one is even better – it’s bloody rose gold?! This one also comes with a Stimulator Brush Head which helps to buff in lotions, creams, oils, etc whilst massaging your skin for ultimate absorption. Even if I wasn’t a Brand Ambassador for Magnitone, I would still recommend this to anyone (as a gift for yourself, even!) – I use this brush everyday and I don’t think I could go back to a cleansing routine without it.
Yep, this is a pricey one – however, this is a real nifty piece of equipment. A lot of gals (like me) struggle with dark unwanted body hair [note – loving your body hair is also a-okay, own it] and the idea of waxing and shaving constantly is a real pain. Queue the SmoothSkin IPL Hair Removal System!
This IPL is probably the smallest ~ and gosh darn prettiest ~ that I’ve ever seen. The gold and black design says chic af, plus it makes this product suitable for women and men of all ages. TBH, it’s quite discrete and if I saw this in someone’s home I wouldn’t have a clue of what it is, and I definitely think that’s a good thing.
This is a real treatin’ luxury gift, but it has a real purpose, and promises up to 92% hair reduction after 4 weeks of treatment if you treat an area once a week for 4 weeks. Unlike most IPL systems, this method is pretty fast as the tech allows for 100 flashes per minute. Plus, no worrying about adverse effects on unsuitable skin as SmoothSkin checks your skin tone before each flash and will only activate if it’s safe.
This is definitely a product I’d pick out for a more mature friend or family member as it’s one for anti-aging, however isn’t the rule that you’re never to young to start anti-wrinkling a thing? This multitasking piece of amazingness, can be used for a multitude of routines.
For example, use the “Hot” setting pre-cleanse to open pores and allow for a deeper, more penetrative clean. Then activate the “Cool” setting of the bar to close pores and work on ~ tightening ~ the skin by toning it.
It’s a lovely added extra for someone who really does indulge themselves and work hard to keep they’re skin looking and feeling flawless.
What electrical beauty products are you looking forward to giving/receiving this Christmas?
