Got the rainy summer blues? I certainly have. The summer weather in Wales has come and gone, and we’ve been left with more, and more rainy days. Thus, I am so ready to get in gear for Autumn fashion. I know, I know AW16 is a fair few months away, and I don’t want to wish away what’s left of the summer – so I’ve been transitioning into the Autumn trends ever so slowly. One AW trend that always has my heart, is Military fashion.

This dress from Yayer* has become my ultimate go-to for early transition into this trend. Not only is it khaki (duh) but it’s boxy shape, with drop shoulder and raw collar detail ticks all of my boxes. The material is so soft and light, so it’s a great “throw on” item for everyday wear.

I’ve teamed mine with 40 denier tights and my ultimate babe’in Public Desire boots*, because the weather was so crappy. On a warm day, I would totally opt for black lace up sandals and a fedora! The accessories definitely pull the whole outfit together, and the statement circle shape of both the earrings* and bracelet* definitely adds something to the boxy fit dress. Finally, I grabbed a lil shoulder bag with fringe detailing to add that much needed movement to the outfit.

How are you transitioning from SS16 to AW16?
