Now that the evenings are creeping in earlier, I’ve definitely been making the most of the limited amount of daylight. Whether that’s getting up early and enjoying a coffee and reading over my uni notes with the radio on, or blasting out my fave tunes whilst bulk shooting blog photos – Music has become a massive part of setting the scene when I’m getting what I need to do, done. Of course, any home music system with style and edge is key to any blogger or interior enthusiasts home, and I think that I’ve found the perfect products for the job.
The Lava BrightSounds 2* is a bluetooth speaker that has impressed both my girl and boy friend’s alike – because it’s just so powerful! This lil cute speaker system is quaint, and beautifully designed, but boy does it pack a punch on the volume front with 5W of power. It’s also rechargeable which is perfect or when you’re taking this baby out for a spin, or are simply moving around your home a lot (like me!)
The ambient LED light is perfect for using in the evening, or on the go, and it can even act as a powerbank charger for your phone and such. I’ve got my BrightSounds 2* in ‘Pink’, which is a perfectly muted baby pink that matches with all of my other rose gold & pink home accessories (it matters, trust me) but it also comes in 4 other colours to match anyones home or mood! At a retail price of £39.99 this would make a fab prezzie for any young adult – especially a student, as this speaker is also waterproof, aka an essential when hosting pre-drinks.
My go to radio lately has been the VQ Retro Mk II*, which is aptly named “Retro” for a reason – it’s has such an old school classic design. Although it comes in an impressive 17 different product colours, I picked out the simple cream style as my interior style is modern, contemporary.
It looks just stunning against my black bookcase in my living room, on the shelving unit in my beauty/blogging room, and it looks dreamy on my bedroom dresser. Due to how lightweight it is, and it’s handy durable strap – it’s so easy to move around the home to suit your audio needs. Plus, it can be powered using the mains, or a rechargeable battery for ease of use.
Although, the product is in keeping with the classic style, it certainly does not compromise on acoustics or functionality. The Retro MK II* features DAB, DAB+ and FM radio reception, so you can tune in to find something for any mood/time of the day. Plus, you can save 10 preset stations to keep up with all your faves!
The small panel in the front pops out and acts as a Lightning Dock for your Apple Devices, so you can play tunes straight from Apple Music or Spotify whilst charging up too. No iPhone? No problem! This device is also bluetooth enabled and has a USB charging port, cool eh?
How do you incorporate home audio into your interior decor?
