Birchbox September 2017 | Unboxing & Review

Birchbox is back for Autumn, and the September box is even a collaboration which makes it even more exciting. This month’s Birchbox design is in collaboration with Oliver Bonas, and it’s just beaut. Honestly, this is my favourite Birchbox design yet, and I’ve been reviewing the UK Birchbox for almost a year now! The September box is centred around work hard, lay hard, and be kind – which is totally a feel I can get onboard with!

 What’s In The Box?

Polaar IcyMagic Instant Eye Contour Energizer

Full Size – RRP £20.50

I’m ridiculously gutted that I picked this out of the box and gave it a squeeze for a lil swatch, and this thing exploded EVERYWHERE. Literally, it was on my face, on my laptop, even in my coffee. Otherwise, this product would have been great to try out as I really enjoy eye care products. The packaging is also beaut, just be sure to squeeze it really, really lightly.

Dr. PawPaw Original Clear Balm

Sample Size – Worth £2.78

TBH, I’m a bit fed up of recieving this product in beauty boxes, I’m getting like one a month?! As much as I love Dr. PawPaw, I don’t need one in my Glossybox, my Cohorted box, and my Birchbox… The product itself is a fab one, just a serial repeater product in my eyes.

Manna Kadar 3-in-1 Powder Compact

Full Size – RRP £15.00

I’m pretty sure I have this product somewhere in my eye shadow draw, and I have tried other Manna Kadar products before. I found that this brand in general is pretty good, and although I won’t really buy individual eyeshadow pans however this is a lovely edition to anyone’s makeup collection – This shade is beaut!

Arrow Boost Color Enhancing Lip Balm

Full Size – RRP £11.00

Appaz, this lippy is a clear balm that transforms due to your skin’s PH to give you a unique, individual sheer sweep of colour that is bound to suit your skintone. I’ve tried these before and they’re not really for me (I prefer regular clear balms) but they’re really cute to add a “just bitten” lip look. Usually these come off really pink on me, and it doesn’t look natural at all – so maybe a good way to try out how a ph-changing lippy works on your skin tone?

Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm

Sample Size – Worth £2.76

I’m so so so happy that I’m finally going to get to try this baby out, it’s been a long time coming! This is so many people’s holy grail makeup removing product and I’m definitely going to give it a good try. I don’t actually have any Clinque in my skincare collection, so it’s a lovely brand to see in this months’ box.

Overall Opinion

Total Box Worth: £52.04

Thanks for a fab Birchbox this month! I’m pretty pleased with everything in the box (bar the Dr PawPaw repeater) however I do wish that my eye cream hadn’t explored everywhere! I think the value is spot on for a box cost of £10 (plus £2.95 P&P), and I’m super excited to integrate a little Clinique into my skincare routine this month!

Whats your favourite product in this month’s Birchbox?
