Affordable High Street Homeware

Hey, folks! Hope you’re all having a fab week xo. I’m feeling a little more inspired to update my interiors, especially in the spare room, now that Spring is almost here. When it comes to affordable high street homeware, I like to think I’ve become somewhat of an expert in keeping an eye out for those real bargain treasures. 5 years of being a skint student and 3 years of running your own business really does tighten purse strings and every purchase has to count. Even though I often find myself lusting over pieces from MADE.com and West Elm, their pieces certainly aren’t budget friendly. And with such beautiful decor pieces at prices as £5 low as on the high street, why look elsewhere? Btw if you’re a fan of my interior style, I have a dedicated interior Instagram account – Millennial Flat – which you can follow for weekly affordable home inspo!

Sass & Belle Planters

When it comes to stylish planters that ooze character, Sass & Belle are king! They’re always my go-to for stunning planters for as little as a fiver. Yep, the smaller planters/plant pots can be picked up for prices as low as a £5 note, and even the most spenny pieces cap at £20. My current faves are the Mini Celestial Moon Planter and Moon Phases Planter (yep, I have a thing for anything lunar). I have a mix of real and faux plants in my planters and they look equally cute either way.

Sass & Belle Mirrors

Sass & Belle also do a fab range of mirrors, from gold framed to the more boho wicker variety. I have four mirrors from Sass & Belle and I think all of them are so well designed and look just beautiful propped up against the wall, as well as actually up on the wall. They all look far more expensive than they are… especially since they start at a price point of £12, which is wayyyy worth the dollar imo.

Dunelm Gold Leaner Mirror

One piece that I have undoubtedly fallen head over heels for is the Dunelm Abbey Leaner Mirror. This full length leaner mirror is only £149, which for a mirror of this size, is an absolute steal! The quality is really there, and I’ve had so many compliments on this piece. Ahem *millennial moment* but it’s perfect for mirror selfies…
