Going Maxi in Cape Greco

Before you say anything, yes, I managed to fly to Cyprus with Clickstay and shoot a full outfit in 35 degree heat on the top of a cliff and some how manage to pull it off. It may have taken the best part of the hottest midday hours, but I was determined to shoot outside the scenic Agioi Anargyroi Chapel sitting only metres above the caves that meander into the cliffs of Cape Greco. If you ever visit Cyprus, this place is definitely not to go a miss. (Little FYI but major Clickstay apartment in cyprus blog post coming soon!)

Before I get all #travelblogger on you guys, the absolute babe that is Megan over on the PR side of next sent me over a full Next outfit to shoot out in sunny Cyprus. Not only that, but the main ingredient - the Petite Blue Crochet Maxi Dress - comes in Regular, Tall, and Petite. It really is a rare occasion when that happens, and after having a little browse on the Next website, it happens a lot. I'm not complaining at all - finding a petite maxi is one of the hardest things for lil diddy gals like me. Yup, I'm only about 5 foot 1 inches small and that makes of a lot of ankle grazer hemlines into complete floor sweepers.

This petite maxi is 100% a swimwear cover up as it's pretty low cut, but the crochet detailing and the soft powder blue looks beautiful against white sandy beaches. I popped this on over my Wolf & Whistle 'kini that they kindly sent over for my trip - thank you W&W! I chose this bikini combo because it looked like a dream for curvy gals, and guess what? It totally is. The lace up detailing also looks bomb peeping through the plunging neckline of the Next maxi.

As accessories go, there's nothing better than keeping comfy whilst sweating your butt off in the holiday heat, am I right? I stick to a trusty pair of comfy sandals, like these knotted ones from Next. The nude colourway matches everything & anything, plus the rounded straps means no digging in or rubbing = winning! Cat eye sunnies? TICK. M' name's The Kitty Luxe, it's got to be a cat eye. The blue tint to these babies give you a brill view of the ocean, even with your shades on. Throw on a pair of high-fashion tassel drop earrings and this look is complete. If in doubt, always throw on a pair of tassel earrings - trust me.
