Two Perfectly Fresh Scents For Spring

I don't know about you, but I am so psyched for Spring time. It's almost Summer, like seriously, we're almost at (mostly) warm weather season and I can't wait for the day where I can step out of the house - carefree - without a coat, scarf, and gloves on and feel the sun warming my skin.

Reality is, however, slightly different as rainy season is definitely upon us. In Wales anyway, it rains an absolute shit tonne. It's pretty hard to welcome in Spring when you're in-fact welcoming in weeks, on weeks, of non-stop rainfall. Accompanied by numerous broken umbrellas, soggy feet, whilst you're still trying to work those winter layers. Plus, it's not fun when can see absolutely no good hair days in the near future.

I've decided on one thing, though, and it's quite the epiphany: you're daily scent can make the world of difference. This post isn't sponsored, I just genuinely have been feeling so much more upbeat about a drizzly day after applying a fresh scent boost in the morn. I've been using two scents interchangeably: Neom Energy Burst* in the day, and Dior Poison Girl for the evening.

Dior Poison Girl Eau De Parfum (50ml/£70.00)

Notes:

Bitter Orange, The Grasse Rose, Venezuelan Tonka Bean

Neom Energy Burst Eau De Parfum* (49ml/£49.00)

Notes:

Grapefruit, Lemon, Rosemary

The Energy Burst parfum popped into my lap when I opened a blogger mail package from the lovely folks over at Neom (Thank you!) and I was in love as soon as I caught a whiff of the scent. It's everything that I could want in a fresh Spring perfume, as it's just so citrus-y. I can definitely pick up all of the notes, especially the grapefruit, which smells incredible. Also, tried n' tested this stuff lasts a whole day without re-spraying, which is crazy.

Whilst Neom Energy Burst* is bright and zingy, the Dior Poison Girl is definitely a more sultry, seductive parfum. It features quite a musky undertone, with dark floral notes that just make me swoon. Honestly, I've only just treated myself to this perfume after lusting over it for about a year or so. Was it worth it? Totally.

What are your go-to Spring scents this year?
