SS16 Primark Haul

It's no secret that I completely fell out of love with Primark in the last few months. I experienced countless unsuccessful shopping trips where my size was literally sold out in every item that I liked - oh and that weekend Primark rush, jeeeez - Am I right? However, I popped in twice in the last week and found a great amount of items which are perfect for SS16 that I just have to share with you all!

PLISSE CAMI DRESS £10.00

After having a bit of cry at the fact that I could only find this style of dress in highly priced high street shops like Topshop, I almost exploded with happiness after spotting this on a mannequin in the window. It only took me about 30 minutes of searching to find the only one left in my size - but boy was it worth it. I would say that the colour is a very muted rose gold, and the length on me is a strong midi.

PINK FLORAL TEE DRESS £13.00

I just had to pick this one up, it's ticks both the pastel and floral boxes for SS16 style, and the shape is so flattering. I can't wait to team this with a simple tee, a black fedora, and black ankle boots whilst the weather is still mild out.

STRAPPY ASYMMETRIC DRESS £10.00

Like I need an excuse to buy another LBD... This is so wearable, either on it's own or over a tee for cooler weather. The asymmetric hem oozes edge, whilst the tie waist accentuates curves eyyy...

WHITE IN YOUR DREAMS T-SHIRT £5.00

I've seen Embroidery tees like this on Instagram a lot in the past month or two, so naturally I had to get my hands on one. This tee is a crop, but I bought mine in a size 18 and I wear it baggy and oversized. I love love love the raw edged hem detailing too, it really adds that "I didn't even try" look when paired with your fave skinnies and trainers, like vans.

DO MORE SLOGAN FOIL CANVAS ART £3.00

I'm usually not one for slogan homeware (sometimes it can be a bit cringe) but as soon as I saw this it put a lot of things in my life into perspective - and for £3, it had to me mine. It's now a little subtle pick me up for when I'm feeling a little defeated in life. Plus it looks so metallic and minimal, right?

SUPERSIZE TASSEL BUCKET BAG £5.00

God, choosing between black and white versions of this bag was so difficult. Yep, they do two monochromatic colours that are a perfect edition to anyone's SS16 wardrobe. I opted for the white version as I have seriously lack of white accessories (key trend alert...) Oh, and the tassels - swoon.

BLACK TASSEL MESSENGER BAG £7.00

As much as my soul actually craves a real Chloé bag, my student overdraft simply won't allow it. But here's trust Primarni with an absolutely beautiful high street version, that promises not to break the bank. I personally am not a fan of the navy hanging tassels, so they've got to go - but other than that, this bag ticks all the boxes - hello croc print loveliness!

BLACK STRAPPY SANDALS £12.00

This was another of those "last one in my size" dilemmas, and I was a bit on the fence about picking these up since I've seen so many lovely pairs of black sandals on the high street. However, I'm really glad I did - they have just enough heel to give me a (much needed) height boost and they fit so well. PS. I did have to go one size up in these!

TOTAL - £65.00 & I totally didn't break the bank, yaaay!

Have you spotted any bargains at Primark recently?
