Look Fantastic | April #LFBLOOMS Beauty Box

Recently I was very kindly invited to the #LFBLOOMS event in London by Look Fantastic, but unfortunately due to clashes with my uni dissertation hand in, I just couldn't attend. Absolute bummer. However, Look Fantastic sent me over their April Beauty Box to test drive for all of you, and that did lessen the blow.

After the last Look Fantastic Beauty Box that I recieved came beautifully packaged, I had no doubt that this one would be a looker, and boy was I right. When I think of Spring, I visualize pops of bright pink, orange, and yellow colour - and this box definitely fits the bill. Plus, the gold metallic wording was just the right detail to make me melt in the middle a little bit. Yaaaas - Look Fantastic, you're doing it right.

Upon opening the box I noticed that there is more of an info booklet compared to a leaflet in a usual beauty box. I do really like this - the booklet has a petit-magazine vibe to it and it's got all of the deets about the products inside this month's box. Also, this month's theme is about all things natural, organic, and eco-friendly, so you can also read up on cruelty free brands and how you can integrate energy saving beauty swaps into your daily routine.

Products included:

RITUALS MIRACLE HAND SCRUB

Before receiving this product, I had never heard of a scrub specifically for hands before. I definitely got my hands on this scrub at the right time, as I have my exams coming up next week. That means weeks of 9am-5pm equation writing which will pretty much destroy my hands, so I can't wait to bring them back to life with this bad boy. It also smells amazing, and looks beautiful, which is a definite plus.

BLOOM & BLOSSOM BATH AND SHOWER GEL

Although this shower gel has fragrance, it's created with 99% naturally derived ingredients - which more than makes up for the lack of yummy scent. It has a sulphate free foaming base and is suitable for all ages, so I think this will be dreamy for my sensitive skin.

BRIOGEO - DON'T DESPAIR, REPAIR! DEEP CONDITIONING MASK

I seriously can't wait to get this little baby into my dry and damaged hair. It boasts rich ingredients such as avocado (hell yes), sweet almond, and argan oils, and claims to reduced damage by 81% within 3 washes. Plus is free from nasties like sulfates and chemical fragrances. Count me in!

ELEMIS - HAND AND NAIL BUTTER

I have a real hatred for greasy hand creams, so it's safe to say that I'm ridiculously relieved that this one melts into the skin beautifully. I already use quite a few Elemis products, so I had no doubt that this one would impress me. The scent is a really spicy lavender, which I find incredibly stimulating. I think this will be another great revision saviour this month.

TANWORX - TAN MAINTAINER

I'm always in desperate need of a good moisturiser after catching the sun, as I find that my tan always fades pathetically fast. Unfortunately, I'm not going on a summer holiday this year so fingers crossed there'll be some bright, summery days in the UK sometime soon. Fingers very, very crossed.

BALANCE ME - SUPER TONING BODY POLISH

Body scrubs and polishes are definitely my favourite body products, so naturally I was uber-excited to see this nestled in the bottom of the box. I have heard such great things about the Balance Me products from bloggers and vloggers alike, so I seriously can't wait to pop in the shower with this one. It says it's super toning, so I will be rubbing this on my butt until there's none left, okay. Plus, this product is also 99% natural and is made in the UK - hell yaaaas!

MY VITAMINS - PERFORMANCE EFFERVESCENT TABLETS

The only dissolvable tablets that I've ever used are the Berocca orange vitamin tablets to give me a bit of life after a pretty heavy night, so seeing these in this month's box was nothing short of a surprise. Apparently these tablets are in a Lemon flavour, and are full of vitamins and minerals to support healthy wellbeing. I'll definitely need this kind of boost during my upcoming stressful revision period - Bring it on!

This monthly box is valued at £50.40 yet only puts you £15.00 out of pocket. For the amount of high quality products inside the box, I think that it's a genuine bargain. Plus, I love that Look Fantastic give you the option to subscribe for one month only (so you only receive one box) which is great for beautybox commitment-phobics. However, the longer your subscription, the less the individual boxes cost - get innn.
