The Homeware Edit | Candle Belle

Lets throwback to about a year ago, when I found this fab independent candle brand online. I had seen a few people post about them on Instagram and I loved the unique scent mixtures that they featured in their products. So I decided to take the plunge and order a variety of their wax melts.

Fast forward to today, and an unexpected little email popped up into my inbox from Candle Belle, asking if I would like to review their products. It was an immediate yes from me as I already knew what good quality they were and I knew that I could definitely recommend them to my readers, hiya! Upon delivery, I was so excited when I ripped open the box to find that I had recieved a selection of Mega Melts*  and Twin Wick Candles* to review.

What really did surprise me about the new products, is that they look so professional. I am such a fussy packaging gal, but these really are beautiful. The problem that I have, mainly with candles, is that some brands really don't suit the aesthetics of a minimalist room. With these beauties, I have no problem in implementing them into my home-décor. The embossing on the lids of the candles give that luxe effect, as does the silver detailing on the melts. It really is all about the detail with Candle Belle.

All of the Candles* feature a twin wick, to burn an even level of wax and provide a better scent experience - and I did find the throw to be very good for a candle of this size. I found that the Candle Belle scents were more delicate in candle form, which is great if you're not very fond of overwhelming or strong scents in your home.

The Mega Melts* (£2.00/50g) really are the Belle of the ball in my opinion. They have such a concentrated formula that the gorgeous smells diffuse through more than one room really well. After holding them next to my Yankee Candle festive melts, I could really see the size difference, and with not much difference in price - it's a no brainer. I also found that you don't even need to use half of a melt to perfume your room as they are so generously sized, and that really does equate to money well spent in my student-y opinion.

Here's the fragrance low-down:

Spice Bazaar - Literally smells like pumpkin spice. PUMPKIN SPICE.

Wedding Day - A crisp summer floral scent.

Parfum De Paris - This smells like fabric softener to me, in a good way - it smells like clean.

Blue Hydrangea - I wasn't expecting this to take me back in time, but it did. We used to have these flowers in my garden growing up, and the scent is nostalgic.

Apple Mango Tango - Apple-y, fruity, with a tang of citrus to top it all off.

Red Delicious - I can almost taste apples when smelling this one, literally.

Black Cherry Bomb - This one is so difficult to describe but my boyfriend says it smells like sour skittles taste (the purple ones, obviously).

Lemongrass - This smells exactly like lemon sherbet, and I love it.

Chocolate Brownie - The pièce de résistance. This smells like you could eat it (but don't okay) - I'm not quite sure how they manage to liquify brownies and pour them into wax form, tbh. If you like sweet smells, this is a good'un.

One thing to mention about Candle Belle is the shear volume of scents to try. Seriously, head to their website ASAP to see all of them, because I probably couldn't realistically fit them all in this post. And I certainly can't wait to start working my way through all of the delicious flavours. Next on my list is Almond Bakewell, Buttercream Cupcake, Cola Cubes, and Cookie Dough - can you tell I have a sweet tooth?

Shhhhh you can get an exclusive 20% discount off your order with "KITTY20"

Head over to Candle Belle's website to see their whole collection.

Do any of these scents take your fancy?
