The Statement Jewellery Edit | Elysium Lux

Not long ago, I got a shiny bloggermail from Elysium Lux. I loved the look of their statement pieces and gorgeous silver jewellery - and I was lucky enough to be sent, not only a statement necklace, but a glimmering silver ring aswell.

Elysium Lux told me they had the perfect pieces for me, and they definitely fulfilled that claim. The style of both items enhanced my personal style, rather than over throwing it. Due to the fact that I wear copious amounts of black/grey clothes, adding jewellery pieces like this can add that extra something to make any outfit pop.

The Christelle Statement Necklace* in particular channels both a tribal, yet gothic vibes that definitely merges with my personal style. The silver compliments my hair so well which is important because with silver hair, any colour metal jewellery can cause my hair to look flat in tone. I also would never usually pick out a statement piece, as I'd assume that they would be too heavy to wear comfortably. However this necklace is very light, without compromising on quality or detail.

Elysium Lux also treated me to their stunning Duchess Rhinestone ring*, which fell in love with as soon as I opened the package. The gems are clear, and reflect light beautifully - creating a really eye-catching shimmer than you can't help but notice. Although the design is quite simple, it's an effortless piece that can add that touch of class to any outfit.

STATEMENT JEWELLERY STYLE

Hat - Primark Black Fedora
Top - Newlook Roll High Neck Long Sleeve Top in Black
Skirt - Zara Flared Jersey Skirt in Dark Grey
H&M - Ankle Boots in Black

I would definitely wear this on a night out with a high necked crop top, however I haven't been out drinking & socialising in a long time due to university commitments *sigh* - so I've gone for a more wearable, AW daytime look. Whilst the necklace screams class, I've teamed it with a fedora to add that bit of a edge that I personally need in an outfit. Keeping in mind that this show stopper definitely draws attention to the chest area, I've decided to neutralise this with a simple black high neck - but if you are looking for that wow effect you can definitely get away with a delicate plunge bralet with the necklace pulled a little higher, like a chocker.

Elysium Lux have some gorgeous pieces on their site, including unique body chains and jewelled headbands, so there really is something to suit everyone's taste - visit their site here.

You can get 20% off these items from 12pm on Friday 18th for a week - using my discount code "TheKittyLuxe" - happy shopping, gals!
