HQ Hair Haul

Last week I won an amazing #kissmas HQ Hair giveaway and although I haven't yet had time to test out the products that arrived, I thought I would show you all the little bits that I received. Some of them I am planning to giveaway, as I know they're not for me - but there are definitely a few gems in here that I really can't wait to get to grips with.

The first product that really stood out to me was the Redken Metal Fix 08 Metallic Liquid Pomade (£14.95/each). Even though I had no idea what this did when it arrived, I was instantly intrigued. Apparently you can use it in a variety of ways to create catwalk-ready hair styles, such as slicked back glittery styles. I think you would have to fully commit to that wet look sleek style to get the full effect, but I already have silver/grey hair, a metallic overlay could only possibly enhance the look, right? I am going to be experimenting with this a lot, so look out for a possible tutorial post in the new year!

The one item that took my eye, due to the packaging mostly (how can you not see it), was the Hand Chemistry Heel Hydration Cream (£15.00/each). The product looks simple, yet bright and colourful at the same time - and I'm not quite sure how I feel about it. I am actually give this one to my mama as she suffers from really cracked skin on her feet, and never treats herself to a cream for it. Fingers crossed this helps her skin, and I might do an update when I go home for christmas.

Another item that I'll be gifting is the Garnier Ultra Lift Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream (£10.71/15ml), because I'm only 21 and I don't think I need age renewing products yet. I did cautiously ask my mum if she wants this, and she was over the moon - yay for mums.

I was absolutely amazed at the size of the Grow Gorgeous Overnight to Gorgeous Hair Masque (£22.00/190ml) - there's plenty of product for my thick locks, and I can already hear my dry, dead hair screaming "thank youuuu".

The main item that I was eagerly anticipating the arrival of was the Purminerals Secret Crush Eyeshadow Palette. The packaging is a blushed rose gold metal look casing - and ohhhh it really is that beautiful. The colours in the palette also look amazing - and on the basis that I will do a complete review post on this item, I haven't even swatched it yet. Full commitment on The Kitty Luxe, people.

The second palette in the giveaway is a little beauty from HD Brows (£29.00/each), I hadn't even heard of this brand before receiving the item, but I did instantly fall in love with the packaging. The palette was the 001 Bombshell eyeshadow palette, featuring a lot of cool tones. As I never really buy cool toned eyeshadows at all, this is a nice edition to my collection so I can play around with colours that are out of my comfort-zone. I'll definitely be doing a full review on this too.

The second offering from HD Brows was their Lipgloss in 001 Bare (£15.00/each). This truly is a very pretty, yet versatile, colour - however I'm really not a fan of lip glosses and I have a feeling that this "wet shine finish" gloss wont change my mind about that. I don't know what I'm going to do with this yet, so I haven't swatched or even opened the lid.

The Maybelline Master Kajal (£5.99/each) is something that I've only ever heard about, I don't even think I'd seen it in the flesh before now. And it is so weird. I can't get over the shape on the liner, it's sort of like a sharpie, I guess? Apparently you need to use it at an angle, and this means that you don't need a sharpener. I am a bit sceptical about that, and I don't even think I own a black non-liquid liner - but I'm willing to give it a go. If I like this, it will 100% be in my December Favourites post.

Finally, the Maybelline Master Sculpt in 02 Medium/Dark (£6.99/each) was the last item that I received. This is another product that I have heard people ranting about all over the internet, so I can't wait to give it a go. The colour Med/Dark may be too dark for some light/mid skin tones, but as I like to lightly build my contour this isn't too much of a problem. As contouring products go, I already dislike this because the contour shade has shimmer in it. And for me personally, this is a big no-no. I just hope that it gives a better impression on the skin.

Which one of these products would you be most excited about?
